When to use Harrison’s High Potency Coarse
-
Year-Round Formula: Specifically designed as the primary diet for medium to large parrots, including African Greys, Eclectus, Cockatoos, Macaws, Pionus, and Large Conures.
-
Conversion Starter: The mandatory first step for all birds transitioning to Harrison’s for a minimum programme of 6 months.
-
Health & Lifecycle Support: Essential for birds that are moulting, breeding, or recovering from illness due to its nutrient-dense profile.
-
Veterinary Consultation: After the initial 6-month period, it is recommended to have an avian veterinarian assess if your bird should stay on High Potency or move to a maintenance diet.
-
Formula Transition: While larger parrots often stay on this formula, other species may switch to Adult Lifetime after 6 months if they are in good health and not under physical stress.
Harrison's ingredients are not processed in a manner that destroys naturally occurring seasonal characteristics. Variations in colour, texture and nugget size may result and are normal.
