Professional Services: I acknowledge that the wing clipping procedure will be performed by a qualified and experienced avian professional. I have been provided with information regarding the potential effects and limitations of wing clipping.

Limitations of Wing Clipping: I understand that wing clipping is not a permanent solution and that the Bird's flight feathers will eventually grow back. I acknowledge that the extent of flight restriction may vary, and the Bird may still be capable of short flights or gliding.

Risks and Considerations: I am aware that wing clipping may cause temporary stress or discomfort to the Bird. I understand that there are inherent risks associated with any avian procedure, and I accept responsibility for any consequences that may arise.

Alternative Flight Training: I acknowledge that alternative methods, such as flight training and behavioural modification, can be used as alternatives to wing clipping. I have been informed of these options and understand that they may be considered for future management of the Bird.

Ongoing Care and Maintenance: I agree to provide ongoing care and maintenance for the Bird, including regular check-ups with an avian veterinarian. I understand the importance of a healthy diet, appropriate housing, and mental stimulation for the Bird's overall well-being.
By purchasing this service, I confirm that I have read and understood the terms of this Bird Wing Clipping Disclaimer, and I willingly consent to the wing clipping procedure for my pet Bird.

Large / Extra Large Birds:
Amazons (Blue Front, Lilac Crown, Yellow-naped), Alexandrine, Black Palm Cockatoos, Blue & Gold Macaws, Chattering Lori, Congo African Grey, Eclectus, Green Winged Macaws, Hyacinth Macaw, Large Amazons (Double Yellow, Yellow Nape), Medium Macaws (Red Fronted, Severe), Moluccan Cockatoos, Pionus Parrots, Scarlet Macaws, Small Cockatoos (Galah, Goffins, Lesser Sulphur, Major Mitchell), Sulphur Crested Cockatoos, Timneh African Grey, Umbrella Cockatoos, Yellow Collar Macaw and similar sized birds.
