Parasite Control
Mites and Lice are common external parasites that can affect the skin and feathers of caged birds. There are several types of mites that you need to be aware of, with the most common being the Scaly Face Mite. Birds must also be wormed regularly, to control thread, caecal, round, gape, gizzard and important tape worms in caged birds. You may also be required to treat the Coccidia parasite causing diarrhoea, weight loss or poor health in birds.
